ComputerKing, are you sure you meant eyes, and not some other body part? Seriously, this is huge, and I can't imagine carting that around anywhere. You might have to weld a handtruck on it for ease of movement. As for what to do with improvements... Windows (like xtrafresh said) and LCDs. I think you'll want people to see what's inside that massive case, and a nice big LCD to run stats on temps, drive activity, running count of storage used, etc. Otherwise, keep it clean and elegant IMHO.
okay here's some pics of my original cube i use to lan atm (new box will be similar) original cube before molesting (before i became its owner) http://members.optusnet.com.au/missingo/CUBE/misc/DCP_1675.jpg before modding it (after 2nd owner trashed it) http://members.optusnet.com.au/missingo/CUBE/misc/0807200707_1ccfce94b0a7ead0d513.jpg http://members.optusnet.com.au/missingo/CUBE/misc/3007200710_6259f7aa7adb8b05a2c1.jpg case after repairs and a few small mods (looks alittle more refined today) http://members.optusnet.com.au/missingo/CUBE/misc/CIMG0014.JPG http://members.optusnet.com.au/missingo/CUBE/misc/CIMG1515.JPG
Well, can it get FTP accecs?! I only have 6-7TB, but more space! What do you have that take that mutch space? I have about 3-400 DVD's (ISO)
today we did some weight testing to make sure it can take the load of my computer with the handles. we could not be arsed putting the parts in the pc for this test so we put approximatley 4x 24 packs of pepsi in the cube (about 40KG worth) and the case was able to be picked up with no issues and no real strain on the handles. (early pic before we fully loaded the cube)
I think will be a shame if you just bolt them together like that and dont do anything, you could have got it all in a single 343. It deserves a custom front and rear panel, maybe some fabricated sides to at least try and make it look less like a case stood on the top of another.
i do want to do some more extremeness to the case (when i have more time and money) i have just had to pay for a new mobo/cpu/ram due to MSI and there crap motherboards. We also had some issues with the large video cards not fitting in with all the hds. i will put up some more complete pictures when i get a little bit of time
