Fate smack-eth me down again. Turned on the rig this afternoon and 20 minutes later, MBM beeped its high temperature alarm at 60c and a second later I get a hard lock. Shut down the rig as quick as I can, run behind my desk and take a look in my rad box. Pump's running, but the fans arent on. Hmmm. Pelt's PSU's LED isn't on. Crud. Pulled the PSU and its got that slight burnt electronic smell. Weee, time to wait for DangerDen to give me an RMA.

This thing's rated to dissipate 500w of heat and retails for about $1000 :) And the best part is I've got 2 of them :D If anyone wants to buy the 2nd, PM me.

not to bust ure bubble hapless...that looks to be a traditional radiator setup, even if it can dissapate 500W of heat...the most id think ure setup would put out is 250w...since it relies on traditional methods...it wont make a diff whether it dissapate 300W or 3000W.

You're forgetting that I'm using an inheritantly inefficient peltier plus a high vcore, that brings it quite a bit over 300w, then you have to factor in the heat from the northbridge and eventually a watercooled NV30/next-gen ATI card, that 500w capacity is very important. I'm not as dumb as you repeatedly seem to think I am....

Thermite: Keep your cookie, gimme a new Dremel instead :p

    relix: What a ripoff :p

    kastman: Ebay.

m0nk3y: No. Thanks for the bump.

Haddy: It's a high quality pump used in alot of aquarium setups, if it isn't I'd be incredibly surprised. The drillpress is pretty good, the only thing I don't like is that the belt/speed chart included with it doesn't list recommended RPMs for various materials like some of their other models do.

    I think I've responded to everyone's questions.
