    Hallo.

I am looking for a replacement for ghost 12 to backup my computer with.

I want to be able to clone a drive, backup a drive and restore a computer fully from a backed up image booting from dvd.

I run Vista 64, C drive is RAID 0 therefor I need a backup tool that supports this.

I have googled this R-Drive Image 4.4, do anyone have any experience with this program??

If you have Vista Buisness or Ultimate edition, you can use Windows Complete PC backup.
It makes an image of your system that could be placed automatically on a network drive, eSATA device, external HDD, USB flash sticks, or burn them on CD, or DVD's.

To restore your HDD, simple insert Vista disk into your system and boot from it, and instead of install Vista you do "repair windows", and you select Complete PC restore.

I tried it, and it with my eSATA external HDD, and it works perfectly.

    Hello GoodBytes,

Maybe a stupid question, but normally when I backup the PC, I do it with games and all installed, this way I could restore the whole pc, games and all in a few minutes. Is this possible with the Windows Complete Backup ?

    Thanks for replying

    As yodasarmpit said, Yup!
It can also do several partitions, and at the moment of restoration you decide which partitions you want to restore from the backup image of your system. If I remember correctly, that is.
