    Cable management, day 6

    Hi guys!

    Time for the long awaited update =)

    Whats been done
    * More cable management
    * Some hose management
    * Made a new holder to keep sata cables out of sight on the bottom module
    * Soldered power cables for the pumps and light's
    * Test booted all 3 PC's

    Well... as mentioned before, have been putting quite alot of time into cable management, its now officially day 6 of the management... and a decent 30 hours has allready gone into it 0.o

    God i hate this amount of cables... but hey... hopefully its gonna look decent when its done

    Also tried to hook up the screen earlier, works flawlessly =)

    Thought of maybe using this as a rendering farm and offloading work over a built in lan?

    great work mate, just saw your last few weeks worth of work and it's progressing at a rate that is making me extremely jealous. I'm having trouble getting a welder to do mine that was put on hold 2 months ago... how are the HDD supports holding up now that they're fully loaded? are they showing any signs of stress?

    once again, great work.:rock::jawdrop::rock:

    Have been putting a decent 6-7 hours a day on this project since the start of it =) so would be wierd if there werent any progress at all ^^

    (my ladie has been out of country for some weeks)

    The HDD supports are not showing any sign of stress at all, but only 12 disks in the top section atm, have more spots then disks atm ^^ 36 sata disks vs 48 spots, got 4 500gb ide's aswell... but wont be able to fit em in with this design along with the others... it just wouldnt look good.. I will get some supporting bar's between the two disk sections made.. to be sure it doesnt fail to stress later on

    Theoretically should the disk holders be able to hold around 100kg (25kg on each "foot") since its 6mm alu, did some stress test with a couple of pneumatic sylinders =)

    wierdly enough... i have enough space for now... so dont see the point in filling them up with new disks right yet
