I just finished to wire twot bulgin led switch buttons :

One white (3.6V) and one green (3.5V).

Can anyone confirm my wiring please ?


Do you know if the hdd and power led voltages output of my motherboard are compatible with the buttons ?

 

The motherboard has a built in resistor so you shouldn't have to worry about voltage incompatibilities with those switches. Wiring looks good to me .

 

A guy on another forum measured 4,89V on his motherboard led output.

I think i have to had a resistance on one of the led wires.

 

I have never heard of a case where the mobo blew the Bulgin LED, even standard LEDs for power and HDD activity don't have inline resistors, you should be just fine.

 

I'm going tu measure the voltage output of my motherboard myslef.

I will tell you the results.

Fair one, although if it's not loaded it may well have a higher than normal votage. You should put a standard LED on and measure the voltage then.

 

I glued 2cm thick foam panels on the sides and the top for soudproofing.

Noooooooooooo, please don't tell me all that UV goodnes and purple is hidden when it's assembled!!!

 

It all looks great until you see that one wire gone astray! I feel OCD kicking in and I don't even have it! The tubing looks excellent BTW.

 

With the interior color you could put some Chrysler stickers on it, Super Bee, Cuda, Challeger, etc -- Chrysler called it "Plum Crazy". I like that color.

I will make a window in the left panel and a little door for the 5"1/4 bay in the front panel.

 

It's not final, i will do a little more cable managment later.

I have to make hdd bays in the lower chamber and little insulated boxes for the noisy pumps.

 

Looking very good mate the plumbing looks very good, the entire structure looks great.

 

Hello every one (sorry for my english), i took new photos of my build.
I have rebuild the case from the new sketch.
Sorry for the ugly paint and cable managment, i do not have the time to make a proper build (i just bought a house)
and i reuse parts of the previous cases.
I will make everything right later this year

 

With a good paint job and some serious cable management, this could be a nice build. That's a lot of watercooling in there. You could cool anything with 3 triple rads.

 

The old pictures seams to have disappeared? Any chance you can re-host them since I really like to see the steps in this build
