I was so happy with Jade Empire for £2.25..... until I reached a MASSIVE bug point in the game. Blocked from going any further, apparently a lot of peopel have the problem too... it's about 6 hours into the game too.

Shame, it's been great till now!

Not impressed by the games on offer today though, hoping that tomorrow brings some amazing bargains I can get my hands on :)

I'm amazed CSS is up i'd have thought everyone will have had that already, especially with it being cheap the other week.

What ever happened to the old Bit-tech clan and server?

Its possible I suppose, basically what happens is 2 NPC's fail to trigger and block a doorway. They're essentially inactive lumps, you cant interact with them in anyway. Annoyingly this doorway just happens to lead to the room with the next plot encounter in it and theres no way to skip it.

Apparently changing resolution and reloading saves to keep trying occasionally works... spent an hour doing it and nothing. Got my fingers crossed that they'll trigger at some point and I can get through and move on!

Roll on 5pm for another round of cheap games!

I think they've ressurected the best selling games from each of the days previous. Still some amazing offers there though. I missed out on GTA IV and thus managed to get it when I didnt think I'd get a second chance.

Underwhelmed with the final STEAM sale offers. Good to hear you got in on some of the deals, though, alpaca. :)

I'm with you guys on the underwhelmed bit. And no doubt, like you also I'm very pleased with the games I've added to my games list and need more hours in the day to play them all!!

Funnily enough the Steam forums errupted with ungrateful *******s crying about it. lol

Hurrah for Valve/Steam/publishers I say. A good holiday sale was had by all.

Well, I certainly picked up lots of goodies these last couple of days. Even postponed upgrading my system so I wouldn't end up not being able to buy some great deal by some freak accident. Ahh... the lengths we go to just to get cheap stuff... :)

I'm happy enough, I get chance to get Torchlight that I missed the first time. GTA 4 is tempting me horribly too, despite GFWL.

I think a friend brought S.T.A.L.K.E.R earlier today. I'm totally not laughing at him.

Tempted to grab GTA4 at that price, but I'm rather put off by the moronic DRM included.
Steam's own DRM I'm fine with, but Rockstar Social Club and GFWL on TOP? Retarded decision.

€7.49 is a nice price for the game, but I wonder if the DRM and supposed poor performance of the PC port are just going to piss me off too much.

Have things changed at all since the bit-tech review or is it still basically one to avoid?

    ----Edit:----

Decided against it after reading reviews again. :p

I have no problem with it. Rockstar Social Club is one more button to click "play" on but the game works fine and it's fun. It has less DRM as no CD checks :)

We'd have a bit of a problem if it did have a CD check. :p
