Is it not just because it is a bike sim that it is moving so much? He is doing wheelies when it moves up so high and when it racks to the left and right if you look at the screen it is tilting loads too, like on a bike.
What makes you think it's a bike sim? There is no evidence to suggest it is. The screen is not tilting at all relative to the user. Nor is the view on the screen tilting. When he accelerates, there is nothing on the screen to suggest a 'wheelie' As others have pointed out, the exaggerated movements are to simulate the G forces you would experience in a car when accelerating, braking and turning.
That's simulator sickness. Long story short : the more you want a immersive force feedback, the more you need to simulate. In this video even if Gs are simulated, you don't have all the physical sensations of a real car such as high frequency vibes causes by stiff dampers sent to your back, the ambient light does'nt match the car move - sun, shadows... - neither does it match the color temperature of the rendered scenes). The brain knows something is wrong.
It sounds more like an F1 game. The people talking in the background mention schumacher a few times. It needs to tilt soo much to get the feel of the acceleration. It probably tilts a little more because if it is an F1 game the cars would accelerate alot quicker than say touring cars. @G69T - Can't wait to see how this turns out, been watching since the start. Brads
hey G69T The onboard computer must be a V8 right? would be so cool. btw your cnc skills rocks. your thread is like a drog. just want more
Its not a bike sim. Its LFS (Live For Speed) a car racing simulator and hes probbably driving one of the F1 cars.
i was more aftersomething more like this. found it on the internet a wild ago. it would be so cool to have it in this project as the computer case. buth G69T goes more wild and put a huge alu block and cnc mill a cooler case that looks like an v8 with a belt driven waterpump
Now that's more like it! And yeah wouldn't be surprised if Gian CNC'd a massive block of alu and made a custom v8 look from scratch!
Thanks to all guys! UPDATE - The supports of the feet of chassies Some images of the working phases on the cnc milling machine The material of the pieces is the carbon steel. The images of the first phase of working ZOOM! ZOOM! ZOOM! ZOOM! ZOOM! ZOOM! ZOOM! ZOOM! ZOOM!
Yes yes! Updates!! <-- I don't think this lil guy quite cuts it somehow That metal swarf in picture seven looks amazing. Bet it's razor sharp
