I just realized that if all the parts are anodized/painted black, the Logitech stuff might not look so shabby. It's the contrast against the beautiful bare metal that makes them look horrendously ugly (in comparison )
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Right-_and_left-hand_traffic It's actually 1/3 of the worlds population, who have left-hand traffic.
If I remember correctly, pretty much all the parts are adjustable. Including the seat which can be moved towards and away from the wheel so that the correct distance can be achieved. Its just a matter of changing the setup to suit the user.
Again you have taken this mod to a whole new level with your workmanship. I am totally speechless. I don't think it matters which side the gear shift is on, because this in one incredible mod. You have accomplish what most of us dream about doing. My hats off to you man.
You have spent countless hours and ££ (sorry my keyboard doesn't have a euro) on building this amazing piece of engineering, but one question is still left unanswered. Are you any good at driving games?
really cool looking work there mate, Where are you going to store it when it's finally done? Can't really tuck it under the bed when not in use
i've read through all the pages, and wow! i have been a reader here, for many years. after looking at this project, i instantly register! it's amazing, gob smacking, breath taking and loads of other stuff i cant think of, mainly because my mind is blown away! some questions, if i may; - how much is that machine, is it yours? - what happend to the mod? - whats next?
I would love to find out what the final weight of this thing is with out the seat and logitech gear and then with the seat and logitech gear. ^^
Yes mate euro's, as in G69T is from Italy, so he has spent €'s p I have them if I copy and paste) on his project.
Hi!! man your mod is awesome maybe ill go to Italy in 6 months can i go to see your workshop . and i have a question ¿What kind of Cad program do you use to desing it?
I wonder if the seat can be moved forward or backward, just like in a real car. I'm sure he paid attention to the ergo because yes, the steering does look a bit in-the-face.
You should think about using a Fanatec Wheel maybe. www.fanatec.de Would suit your awesome modding much better. For example: Porsche 911 GT3 RS Wheel -Clubsport edition-: with Clubsport Pedals: and Shifter:
