Hi all Today i turned on my comp and checked my emails only to find an email confirming the purchase of 5000MSP. Although i haven't checked with my dad to see if anything has one from his account he wouldn't have bought me them on purpose. It isn't a fake as i have checked xbox live market place and i indeed have 5000 MSP. Is this some free promotion i haven't heard about? I'm a little worried as to how this has happened and would like to know if this has happened to anyone else. i will check with my dad to see if a legitimate purchase has been made and if one has been made, does anyone know how i could refund such a purchase as i doubt my dad would like to lose that much wonga in a single accidental purchase. ED- i have since talked to my dad and it is apparent that money has been taken from his account without his knowledge. does anyone know where i can go to find refunding.
It says the time the purchase was made and i was in bed at that time (if you must know 7:30 this morning). No one else knows my password for my account (its the most secure one I've ever concocted - a series of random digits. And even if by some miracle anyone had my password, i don't see the criminal logic in buying me the most expensive MSP package available?! @Steve Could you perhaps give me the contact info for CS as i can't seem to find it.
If you don't get a good response from ms, ask your dad to speak to his credit/debit card company, they're usually pretty darned good at this sort of thing.
