You know what implies everyone, in diagnosing the BSOD, is having the real error message that appears. You can see this message if you disable auto-reboot on BSOD (how to tutorial: http://pcsupport.about.com/od/windows7/ht/automatic-restart-windows-7.htm)

Anyway, BSOD Code 116 means: "System tried to reset the video driver; but could not in the time allowed".

In other words it's your video card drivers that crashed, and was unable to recover. Windows Vista/7 has the ability to restart a driver to avoid a BSOD. It's just that in this case it was unable to. Probably because the GPU itself crashed, probably due to the driver.

I recommend to get the latest drivers from ATi web site. If you do have them already you can:
    - Get an older version, until a new version is released.
    - Get the latest beta version. (but risk other problems - graphical errors, or well more crash)
    - Ignore this problem and only be concern if it happens again.

Thanks that makes sense I just finished updating my video drivers:wallbash: around 5 min before the error happened.

I just wanted to be safe. Thanks again:thumb:
