    But then, I prefer Iced Earth's cover of (Iron Maiden's) "Hallowed be Thy Name" to the original.

    Have you listened to the Rock in Rio version? Its much heavier and generally better IMHO.

    EDIT: The Rio version of Hallowed Be Thy Name, not Holy Diver

    I am 100% sure I have.
    I have every Maiden album, plus the Rock in Rio DVD and the making of the number of the beast DVD.

    There's something about the slightly different timing of the Iced Earth cover that makes it sound more "together" than the Maiden one, Even though I'll agree that the RiR version is better than the album version.
