I vote we start a thread for this Video Game Name Generator!

    Dwarven Lightning Brawl.

Dammit, why don't devs just go there, get a name and make a game that fits that name? I bet they'd sell better than most "new" games nowadays!

Edit : Michael Jackson's Programming Pioneer. The mind boggles...

Edit 2 : Satan's Sniper Horror. That's it, I'm adding VGNG to my email signature....

Edit 3 : Monty Python's Theme Park Gladiator. I think I might have developed an addiction....

Edit 4 : British Porn Uncensored. Oh god, I can't stop....

Oh great, im just installing this into steam now (on a plus note, it worked a fair bit better than i remember MW2 working, which just didnt want to use the dvd to install).

And it seems a simple random word generator will be more fun *rage*

From the review it sounds like the development team had an argument, split into two factions, went off and made two different games, reconciled their differences, and then tried to combine them into one thing.

    Oh, and...
    • Tom Clancy's Whale - 2nd Impact
    • Drug-Induced Barbarian vs. Street Fighter
    • French Deer Hunter - The Gathering Storm
    • Downtown Cookie Daredevils
    • Third-World Architecture Rage
That generator is a work of pseudo-random genius.

EDIT: Hitler's Hair Salon in Busytown

This was on my wishlist on Steam, then found it nearly half price on Play.com. Nearly bought it, but luckily I read the review first. Looks like I'll be getting something else for my birthday...

Unfortunately I bought this game before reading the review and you're right. It's not all it's cracked up to be.

Thus far I've only played the single player game and it's irritating.

I bought it having played Sniper Elite and figured a more graphically pleasing version with new features would be cool. But instead of a sniper based game it seems to be just another FPS.

Shoot just once and somehow people can echo-locate despite that being very difficult and then proceed to fire at you with greater accuracy than you can manage with the assault rife on the worst parts of the game when you're not sniping... which is another gripe for a game called "Sniper".

Even firing from a nice elevated position leaves you ducking for every piece of cover and not even being able to poke your scope up without being shot pretty much instantly. There's no real lull to the game, no sense of sneaking and the shooting physics are rubbish.

I wanted something for a change to Modern Warfare's run and gun but instead it feels more like a light gun game at an arcade just with a mouse instead of a terrible knock off of a real or imaginary gun.

To really sum up, if I couldn't hold a gun steady then I'd give up on sniping as a career and so too should the makers of this title's physics.

That was one of the first things I noticed.
How is it that the enemy, using poor weapons, can shoot more accurate than you can with a sniping gun. Not to mention locate you on the very first shot as soon as you fire it. That's not realistic in any way.

Also, the difference between medium and difficult was almost nill. They remove the dot showing where you will hit.

I really liked this game at times, but other times it's a massive let down.

The thing about that is I'm more surprised there's bits you like enough to consider the rest a let down to be honest.

Personally I'd prefer a more Tom Clancy attitude to it all... plus I know it's realistic but it's frustrating that there's no silencers... ever. It's not like these guys are aiming for the thousand yard shot or ever have the place scoped out before hand and lie in wait so why oh why wouldn't they think ahead and prevent the noisy thing giving them away after the first shot?

i've read previously that the moving around (or better the movement of the camera) is slow, but i think what i experience is TOO SLOW! it feels like the character is stoned. it is very unnerving. in the same time i had a chance to watch the walk-through video and i realized that the character in the vid is running much faster. would someone explain it to me please? thanks!

Nice game only for the sniping shots bullet cut sceens idea possible taken from Sniper Elite. Why in the multiplayer mode of the game is there no funtion of going prone what's that all about, did they really not want to recreate the way sniper or was it the fact that all other games like COD any of them already have the go prone enabled. It sucks, and it's a shame.
