Just finished reading this whole thread :)
    Wow!
Great work in here cheaps, I'm really loving the plexi work, and the nice looking blocks and other wc bits.
I'd love a cnc mill, a small one like yours would work wonders.

Anyway, can't wait for another update now!

    Nope. Sorry.:D
On the plus side. I finally found a shop that carries 220 and 400 grit wet sand sandpaper. That will speed up the work on bloo drastically. I've been working with a 2" worn out square of both for a while now, and my work looks like crap because of it.

I can hardly imagine it looking like crap, mate. Crap for you would be close to perfect for most others. :thumb:

    Thanks guys.:D
@perplekks - I can see what the camera doesn't show.
@Grimmjsb - ALL of it?:worried: The CNC rig with control software was $2015. I probably have another 200 in bits and stuff.
    @SamH - Joined 2009, first post today. I feel honored.:D

EeeK! You bumped me, man! Glad you like it, though.:D

I apologize for not having any content the last few months. Bloo is almost rebuilt, and that Bill Owen guy has been had me working on yet another project.
I should be back to working on this shortly, but it will be sanding... sooooo...

    It's back...For now

Wake up, everbuddy! I thought it was time for a little progress report.
-As you can see by the chart, I have had a few major distractions since starting this project. The good news is we are seeing an upwards trend in Gwass Gween construction and parts procurement. Please keep in mind that in this volatile environment that progress could stop again at any time. Outside sources indicate that there may be another slowdown as early as Fall.
-The skies here have been insanely clear, and cheapskate is allergic to sunlight. As long as he doesn't go nocturnal again, you should see more work on Gwass Gween.:D
    [IMG]
-I'm still working out the inside fanguard assembly. Because I can't mill fins longer than 12 inches, (without a lot of annoying re-positioning,) I'm playing with putting horizontal fins on the bottom fan. Opinions?
-Parts purchased at this point include a harddrive, optical drive, crazy-long sata cables, and these guys. I need to change the faceplate on the block to get rid of the black frog face. It will also need mounting spots for cover plates.
I will be doing the optical setup first. -Gotta finish the outsides before I do the insides.
-Here's a padding pic of me cutting, and getting mobbed by planters.
-Here's a padding pic of me milling. This will mount to the outside under the external radiator fan.
-The fins for this part are stingy-person-friendly.:D
    [IMG]
    -Test assembly...
-and here's a test fit on the SR1. Hey! The pics show me I forgot to sand and polish the sides of part of the fanguard. Maybe I should just add side plates to make both parts blend together better...
-'nuther shot to show the shapes off.

That's it for now. I'm still sanding on the case, and doing a lot of re-assembly to figure out where I was when I stopped.
Thanks again to the following sponsors. I hope they aren't mad about all the downtime.
