I was wondering. You must be < 20 then? Because for someone my age over here, that minimum wage would be totally unacceptable. £600-650 GBP in a month would be a really bad month for me :worried:

Thought so. Be sure and ask for a raise when you do turn 20 ;)

Knowing that even if you pay BT £15,000 a year, they're just as crap as if you're a home user.

    It's comforting.

I can't remember what it was when I was 19/20, but I am pretty sure it was more than that, although I was doing a completely different type of work than you are back then.

Highest in the country. A combination of several liberal lawmakers and a high cost of living has created a bit of a young laborer's haven. Really, chimmy's got a blessing and a curse. Walla Walla's rural location means a lower cost of living compared to the majority of the state so he relatively makes more money, yet on the downside he gets to pay statewide taxes which pay for projects that only affect the Seattle metropolitan area.

Of course, all of us Washingtonians get the blessing of online retailers not having a higher cost compared to other states. That shiney to graphics card on Newegg will always be $300, except over here it will take 35 hours of work to buy whereas it will take you 41. :p

Getting a permanent job much closer to where I live (Having no London travel costs), not experiencing the drought of jobs that new graduates are apparently facing, significantly higher pay, and learning at a young age"It's not what you know but who you know!".

    A great month!

Just ordered a replacement headset, should make life +1 bareable for the meantime. Also just gathering up some info to forward an application for a cisco helpdesk position, fairly confident and look forward to hearing a reply if I get one that is.. Also, out for drinks with the family tomorrow!

My Lian Li A05NB showed up this morning, what an absolutely beautiful piece of kit :thumb: now its time to start some planning (nice and slowly), seeing as I have something to actually measure against.

as well as some of my textbooks for this semester.... I'm finally getting into classes that are interesting to me, so reading up on Windows server 2008 administration and poking through my linux/unix text tonight :D
