Picture hereWho, me? errrr, i hope i can find the original pic, this is a cutout I prepared a looooong time ago. Picture here
errm, can you see it? I can't. it's pretty easy and might have been in here before (but I can't search 258 thread-pages)
Yet another incarnation of the Fiat 8V in this thread. This (rather radical) take was presented by Carrozzeria Vignale in 1952 and has since earned the nickname ‘Demon Rouge’. You should’ve warned us about the car’s one-off status though.
OK, I hope you don’t mind me posting the next entry: Unlike Xir’s Demon Rouge, this baby wasn’t a solitary specimen.
It wasn’t. Just the same, I initially ran through a number of production model suspects in my mind because that’s what I naturally expected. So I think it would be fair to introduce any one-offs by openly revealing their unique status right away. Which is the course of action we agreed upon a few months ago, I think.
Well, i didn't really know it was a one-off, I was a bit knocked over with the "Xir, it's your turn" and this was the only car I had a picture of on short notice. I'd have found something more difficult otherwise
I hope you guys do notice a slight resemblance between this one and something posted, uhm, very recently?
EPIC THREAD REVIVAL! ive included a generously sized preview of this one because not only is it a rare (about 800 made) and little-known car, but i dont think they were available across the pond. but i would own one in a heart beat!
i specifically left the scoop and the "Handling by Lotus" badge in the frame to distinguish it sweet little car. 160HP, all-wheel-drive, 0-60 in 7 seconds flat. it was quicker and better handling than most sport compacts of its generation.
OBJECTION! My latest puzzle car hasn’t been identified yet! As a consequence, the entry above should be considered a mere, hmm, side quest.
OBJECTION OVERRULED. after a year and a half all previous submissions shall be considered null and void uni, ball is in your court. gogogogogo!
What I really feel is that you made a damn good call, Sludge. Whatever took you so long anyway? That said, you guys do seem to lack ambition. I mean, Christ, my car wasn’t even THAT obscure.
I scoured google for an hour trying to come up with at least an educated guess and im still at a loss. i know literally nothing about classic italian(?) cars. heck im not even really that good with classic american cars!
