I believe they are like methadone for marmite addicts that have gone over the edge, then again not everything I believe is absolutely correct
I love Marmite, Though i don't like it too thick but its great stuff, and the only way i eat crumpets, However about a year ago it started making me feel sick every time I ate it so now i cant eat Marmite or crumpets
Brawl, you know how I feel about marmite on toast so stop taunting me when you've got some and I haven't (oh poached eggs on marmite toast - yum)
Argh I wanted marmite toast for breakfast this morning but my jar has gone missing! And I ran out of milk for my cereal! Worst Monday breakfast ever!
it looks and smells a bit like dogs ear wax.. not so sure on the taste, but for scientific purposes I will test that later and report in
I'm a Marmite lover myself, although a word or caution to the non-marmite users of this forum.... don't spread the stuff on as if it were jam, my mate did that once and was shamed into a corner for the rest of the day.
For you Americanos (or at least Canadianas) out there, Marmite can typically be found in your local Safeway, in and/or around the "cooking sauces" section, along with Bovril and other forms of concentrated bouillon. Unfortunately, however, Twiglets are not at all available anywhere, unless you happen to know a black-market British goods smuggler.
