    why does the game have a 4 day delay in the US over Europe? its digital, what reason would there be to have that big of a difference?

    the game was available for play at PAX East .. sadly I didn't get a chance to play it myself, but there was a HUGE line of people queued up for it

    I don't know, it doesn't make any sense. But if you want to see an end to staggered worldwide release dates, I recommend signing this petition.

    I love their sense of humour, though. Made me laugh as much as the trailer. At least they're lampshading this ****, rather than just hiding in a basement ignoring their fans.

    you better bloody well hope it runs flawless on release, with graphics better than Crysis 1 or 2, gameplay better than... well.. anything! and playable until we all grow old and senile!

    LOL.. glad i wasn't one of the totally devout dreaming of Duke 'coming' every night

    But no seriously, it's probably because Gearbox US has to download it from Gearbox UK, and their BT Openworld upload maxes out at 12k/s.

    perhaps gearbox is hoping the whole '2012 end of the world' thing is true, so they don't have to actually release the game. :D

    average time to make and announce a sequal: 1,5 years.
    it took dnf 15 years.
    15/1.5 = 10.
    february - may = 3 months.
    3x10 = 30
    30/12 = 2,5.
    so we're looking at another 2,5 year wait...
