Hi there, i'm a rookie in modding. but i have some ideas, a little bit of brain in my head and lot of motivation to make a great MOD. My first inspiration is the Level 10 case from thermaltake. i love the concept but to cold in design. My mod will be based on level 10 concept... so all component separately, minimum wire view, watercooled. So i start the design in 3D with cinema 4D software. base is two vertical plexiglas plate for support the hardware, i tought about one 20mm plate and 10 or 15mm plate for the right side. and a base plate for the stability. the PSU will change orientation to make the wire management more easy, the PSU wires will be between the two plexi plates. The stockage is on the base in two (or three ) Scythe Himuro case with the sleeve behind. More image later with the hardware in place
I was just wondering where did you get the mesh metrial for cinema 4d? I like desgin the "backplate" is more rounded them the level 10 which makes look smooth and great i will look forward to see how it comes out ;D
In principle, yes, everything must go. I'll just be bothered with the video card and PCI riser but it should go. for the moment I thought about the integration of the reservoir / pump (the pump is down) and the choice of radiators. The original idea was to cape cora with 6x120mm fans but I do not know if it's going to go for watercooling CPU / GPU
new integration of water container and pump. combination pump + top plexi with container EK 140 and the DVD driver move under the HDD. cable management more clean and easy
i know that what i'm about to say might sound a bit weird as an idea, but i'm gonna go ahead and say it. those 4 stands that you have for the HDDs could be replaced by 4 small reservoirs in the same shape. this means that there would have to be a way for these reservoirs to communicate so the fluid can run from all 4 of them. i dont know what implications that may have in implementation (need for more pumps) as i do not have a lot of experience with watercooling. again, i love the design! cheers, chris
in fact, the four stands are full plexi, not tube. and make them begining reservoirs is too much work on small pieces. on the design, the stands are 20mm diameter... so too smal to begin reservoirs i think. so it's a good idea, but i will have too much tubing to place and i think it will be disgrace with the design. i will thinking at the most difficult part of the MOD, make the tubing without disgrace. thanks for following
in fact this is a great idea but the reservoirs must be hand made pieces, i doubt i can find on the web a four in one reservoir but... maybe for another build... who know
the vertical sheet mesures 600mm depth 700mm height 400mm width a vue right side i'm not sure yet for the rads, i've selected cape cora for the design but i'm note sure they be enough performant for i7 2600k and CG cooling
the level 10 is the "muse" but i want to make something ... different, coldless, more smooth i've even try integration with two 360 rad with fans for test, it works but the six fans will make noise at all. and what i want, it's a noisless Mod. that what i selected the alphacool Cora 642
hi guys, one question about the watercooling planning. i would take a alphacool cape cora 642 for the silence and design. i plan to watercolling the CPU and the GPU (maybe a GTX 560 Ti) if i place 6 120mm fans betwenn the two vertical sheets to push the warm air from the rads... it is enough? or i must take conventionnal rad like two 360?
