Won't happen. You have made only 2 posts which are both in this forum asking for the ip and you are a new member. We don't know you.

Spend a few months on bit-tech and contribute to the forum. Then come back.

Sorry to sound harsh but all members have worked hard on the servers and we don't want it being ruined by griefers.

Yesterday (sunday 17th) was the day of the move. Everything was packed into a lorry and driven across the country
The only thing 'online' right now is my bed Everything is still spread around the whole house and more then half of it is still in boxes.

I'll try to get my computers and servers back up and running so i can start installing the new Minecraft server. The hardware for this new server is a few steps down from what it was, because i do not have anything serious as a spare. I'll probably try setting up a linux-solution (Minecraft-OS or something?) for the best performance possible.

The only internet i have at the moment is from my mobile phone. I'll try and get that sorted as soon as possible but i just did not have the time with all the other things going on. This means it is very possible the server is back online way before i am

Howdy folks, I was thinking that the servers have seemed a little quiet lately and thought we could get more people on at the same time by having custom map nights/weekends. XM's happy to do it (when he's finished doing grown up things that is) if more people want to.

As an example here's a couple of maps we could use.

Planetoids

I've played this in single-player and it's not too difficult as far as surviving goes but it leads to some pretty cool buildings/structures being built.



The other one is Survival Underground

Made by the same person who did Survival Island so similar idea to that, but much harder

 

Has anyone check out Ace of Spades?

It's Minecraft with guns bascially, with 2 teams trying to grab each others intelligence files, and they can create bunkers, tunnels anything basically.

Could be quite good!

im going to be all over powered rails. will make builds easier in single player. Id imagine you can switch the blocks on and off. Will be intresting to see some of the builds people come up with.

that planetoid map looks very interesting, i wouldn't mind seeing something like that on the server.

 

And 1.5_01 is out to fix the bugs in 1.5. Servers need to update to this as powered rails crash 1.5 servers hard.

Bukkit should be updated by the time XM gets his server back online

 

How about the creative server? many days? will it be back up before easter?

- I'm @ my new house (for about 5 days) now, yay!

- Internet still is a (huge) problem
-- and no idea when it will be fixed
-- could take some time
-- online via my phone :S (UMTS)

- I did not have to the time to look at the 'new' minecraft server yet
-- i'm still a bit busy with organizing everything here
-- also i'm damn tired when i get home from work
-- maybe Easter gives me some free time although i doubt it
-- will be trying MineOS

On a side note, does anyone else get depressed when it rains in minecraft?
