Remember last time i had a thread saying my P8Z68-v pro mobo had issues? I took the board back and the seller tested that both my i5 2500K and the board was faulty and i go a refund..with a working board and cpu. But now I'm experiencing random lag issues in windows 7, the lag comes randomly, once the lag occurs my applications like msn and i cant surf although there are no signs of network error in the network icon, and the lag can be felt greatly when i move my mouse, it lags for 1-2sec before moving to the point i pointed it and i noticed that cpu usage was around 10-30% during the lag but when i'm surfing normally the cpu only runs at 1-8% Can someone help me with this problem? is it hard drive here is my spec Intel Core i5 2500K Asus P8Z68-V PRO Corsair XMS3 1600mhz 2GB x4 2x WD 320GB Caviar Blue HDD CM Silent Pro 700W PSU Thermalright Venomous X-RT Cooler Nvidia GeForce GTX 570 Really getting frustrated with my pc now....suddenly miss my old i5 750 and the mobo which served me really well in the past EDIT: I also have a Asus Wireless card installed on the top of my gtx 570, the card cant be screwed to the side of my haf -x so i left in unscrewed...is there a possibility that the lag occurs when the card shakes a little?
Take out the wireless card, use the PC and see if it's that. Are you using Lucid Virtu and the onboard video or direct from the card?
i cant even install virtu...i always have this issue with my board...sometimes the 570 has signal and sometimes the onboard graphics has signal when i restart...when the 570 loses signal the onboard has it...onboard doesn't have signal then the 570 has it, anyways to solve this annoying problem?
it says no discrete gpu found...but something is funny...no i cant run the display output from the 570...nothing is showing up...but the card works fine in another machine..i had this issue since the first day of use...sometime it has sometimes don't.....can you help me with this problem? is there any thing i need to set in the bios to solve the problem? my main boot priority graphics controller is already from pcie/pci
Are you using set point software for any logitech mouse or keyboard? If so , update drivers and firmware. Try booting into safe mode with networking and see if you problem still occurs.. If so you know it driver and not hardware related.. PM and we'll try some other tips.
ok, i'm using razer arctosa keyboard and a deathadder...i've installed the latest intel chipset drivers and it worked for the last 3 days fine with my 570 but now the same problems occur? what should i do...totally regretted choosing this z68 board....should have gone for a p67 board
They didn't yet. I don't have neither of your problems and our systems are very similar (P8Z68-V PRO, GTX570,...) It is just a blind shot, but did you install the latest Intel RST/Matrix Storage drivers for the SATA controllers ? Maybe your hard drives don't like LPM, like some of the SSDs. http://forum.crucial.com/t5/Solid-S...eze-ups-in-Windows-7-solved-for-me/td-p/38766 http://peoplesrepublicof.wordpress.com/2010/01/27/nonresponsiveness-due-to-iastor-error-solved/ It is worth a try i think. Oh and please post your iGPU configuration screen from the UEFI (where you enable/disable Virtu).
my settings are Initiate Graphic Adapter PCIE/PCI iGPU Memory 64M Render Standby Enabled iGPU Multi-Monitor Enabled tried to install vritu but it says no discrete gpu detected== any other ways to solve this problem...maybe sometimes later i restart then the problem goes off, then after a few days it comes back again...
