I've not long had the game. Tigernos#2409 if anyone wants to join me. Highest is a 25 monk

 

Anyone else dislike all these exp nerfs, especially in boss fights and such? Yes there are 'tricks' to powerlevel that should not be allowed, but they seem to be nerfing everything and it's just making it boring and tedious.

 

Just finished NM and moved up to Hell and getting my arse handed to me on a silver platter. What is your advice? (NOT buying gear on the RMAH however!)

what class? I am doing ok in hell with a monk (tricky!) and a wizard (easy + more fun!)

your dex + damage seems low - at lvl 54 I was on 4.5k dmg, and 1500 odd dex...also more like 3.8k armor and roughly 20k HP...I still die, but not "That" often!!

Yes I have a Barb and a Wizard in Inferno. Working on Witch Doctor and farming with Wizard.

My Freshly dinged Wiz last night had 22k DPS, now it's not much but Act1 is more of a breezy than with my Barb.

 

I'm on Diablo in Inferno...

No, I haven't done Diablo on Inferno

 

Don't remember the wiz. skill and rune to use, it has the sword icon but it increases your weapon damage. It's unreal. Dropped 10k on a high dps level 42 weapon, threw a flawless square ruby in it and its sitting at 131 dps for a 1 hander, which is on the higher end of level 42 dps. My mage is now level 44 I believe but doing like 3k damage, and with the sword buff it boosts it up to 3.8k. Gotta love free dps! Only issue I'm having is I get pretty much 1 - 3 shot by everything since all my gear is straight int with no vitality. Think I'm running through a3 NM with 3.5k hp. Oh well, things die super fast!

As for my barb, part way through a2 inferno, as others have suggested, I've given up on him until the next patch. I can't afford items from the AH and I refuse to spend money on the RMAH. I've tried farming goblins and such but I can't kill them in my mf gear, and in my regular gear I get a lot of crappy blue drops that are worthless.

 

You're looking for Magic Weapon with either Force Weapon or Venom Weapon runes which boost it to 15% more. All you gotta do is remember to cast it.

Patch incoming today and from what I can gather from the US forums Aggressive Barbs are now viable? If this is true, there go my revision plans for tonight.

 

congrats! now the million dollar question - any good drops?

 

Gems are also a LOT cheaper to craft together both money and mats-wise, which is nice.

Drops seem to have strengthened a little as well. More of the drops I'm getting are for closer to my current level, so they're having higher stats.

That doesn't necessarily mean I'm getting the right gear for my class still, but when it does pop along its noticeably better.
