Windows Snapdo toolbar

I have been working on this girls computer she is always on face
book. During my searching online I saw an article about snapdo
toolbar. It has a facebook feature on it so I thought it would be
nice
to install it for her. I need a link searching online plenty about
uninstalling but nothing about installing.

 

agghhhhh, please dont install toolbars, they are not helpful, they slow down your browser, and some even act as spyware/adware

 

DO NOT install snap do !! What do you think, why do ppl search the way to uninstall it? If you install it once, you'll not be able to uninstall it, it will reappear after a time some way.

 

What, toolbars are totally helpful and awesome, I just love them they really improve the internet experience.

I've installed it now I think she'll like it I've also installed it on my own computer if she does'ent like it I'll find a way to uninstall it. To install it type snapdo in the google search and open the first link on the page that comes up. Thanks guys for no help.

one of the first things i do on a job, if someone is having problems with internet connection, is remove all the toolbars, just doing that you can see an improvement.

trust me, you are just asking for trouble intalling toolbars.

@lysol, i have seen customer machines like that, makes me chuckle, especially when they say, i can't understand why it takes so long to geton the internet.

Reading this thread I thought it was a spambot posting then saw post count.

There's very few toolbar's I trust, I don't install any though because as others have said it will slow the browser down and probably act as spyware, don't be suprised if you see more box up boxs with adverts

I googles snapdo, first link is to the site, the next 4 are complaining about it.

Even Spybot acknowledged that this was malware. But considering the OP's second ever thread was regarding pirate copy of Windows he deserves all the aggro it might cause quite frankly. Just feel sorry for the friend having all of her personal data mined etc.

If OP is me I have got threads in the hardware section, what difference does it matter if I dont have many threads. I am on plenty of forums.

 

In plain English tony007, you asked for advice in here, and you got it. The tone of the advice may not have been to your liking, but it was inevitable since you even acknowledged in your first post that most of the results on Google relate to people trying to get rid of the toolbar in question after it hijacked their browsers.

You then proceeded to ignore the advice given, and thank everyone for "no help". Doesn't take a rocket scientist to see there are some issues with that, it's as if you wanted to install a spyware toolbar that is very difficult to remove, regardless of common sense.

I can only hope that anyone else who reads this thread applies at least a modicum of logic to their decisions.

Back before Google (yes, there was such a time), Dogpile was my search engine of choice.
