I still cannot get this to run, have uninstalled it now so will try installing it again see if it makes any difference.
1st time I ran it, I got to the demo video for the 2nd benchmark then it crashed. 2nd time it got, just passed the 1st demo. 3rd time it went through the 1st benchmark and 2nd but crashed just before loading the 3rd demo. Ran prime etc and stressed my graphics card just to check everything is ok and it all came out fine, so I think it's just this benchmark software has a few bugs. Not going to buy it until I know I can run it.
I just ran it on my old system ice storm 59964 cloud gate 8363 fire strike 2604 says my drivers are not approved for my video card
I noticed the whole 1.5GB vram was maxed at some point during the benchmark. Check out the manufacturing technology lol
http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/136120 ^^ 5244 for fire strike `normal` and! http://www.3dmark.com/fs/103222 ^^ 2550 fire strike `extreme`
Seems like running valid Nvidia drivers gives you quite a bump in performance in fire strike, so perhaps the people with problems need to run the betas.
Can't see me installing beta drivers for 1 benchmark. If it effected any game that I played I'd probably upgrade but ill just wait for those drivers to go to release I think.
2500k and an MSI 670 Power edition both at stock. Dont know why it says my ram is at 667 when it's actually at 936.5, also I'm getting the invalid driver crap as well, don't think I've ever ran a 3dmark bench that actually approved of my drivers.
Well I have been up since 5am this morning, and I have tried all sorts to get this to run. Tried the following things: 1: CPU at stock speed 2: CPU underclocked 3: CPU overclocked 4: Fresh install of windows 7 5: 4 different graphics driver versions 6: None SLI 7: SLI 8: Overclocked GPU 9: Stock GPU 10: Underclocked GPU 11: Fresh install of Windows Vista 12: Fresh install of Windows 8 13: No motherboard drivers 14: Installing 1 motherboard driver at a time and running it after each driver install 15: Different PSU 16: Different CPU 17: Different Motherboard 18: Different GPU 19: Different Ram 20: 3D Mark installed on Corsair SSD 21: 3D Mark installed on 2tb Samsung HDD 22: 3D Mark installed on 1tb Seagate HDD 23: Windows install on USB Pendrive 24: 3D Mark installed on USB Pendrive 25: Different sound card 26: Different sound drivers 27: No Sound Card 28: No graphics cards except the onboard Every single time it, will crash at different points through out the benchmark run and always ends with either a image on the screen frozen or a pure white screen, and when you do the old CTRL+ALT+DELETE the screen just goes Black and you have to hit the reset button. Prime 95 ran for 24 hours solid, Memtest ran for 2 passes, Heaven Benchmark ran for 10 benchmark runs, Older 3D Mark test's ran for a minimum of 10 times, Furmark ran for 8 hours. I just cannot get this new benchmark software to run.
One thing I have not tried is the Steam version so I am going to try that now. **EDIT** Steam version didn't work either
Do you mean just on the last test? I'm using older drivers so not sure how much difference that makes, might try the others just to see.
I'm using the set before the current ones as I read somewhere that people were having issues with the lastest.
Well I've been messing about for a while and this is the best I can get. Ice Storm: 186987 Cloud Gate: 20283 Fire Strike: 7033 I've used the latest beta drivers and to be honest, I haven't had an issue at all with them. My graphics scores are ok for a single 680, but my physics scores are holding me back. Is it correct that the physics scores are CPU dependent?
