Slowly, there's nothing wrong with slowly, the motherboard tray turned out nice, are you going to mount the psu in the bottom RH corner ?

Yep, power supply will be mounted in the bottom right hand corner. Will be on its side with the fan venting into the case (not ideal but will have to do).

Using runners would work or you could make a new box for the psu or maybe have no cover on the psu and have that vintage look ?

Thought I'd try out an idea for a PSU mounting tray. Cut a recess in a hardwood board and mounted a small brass plate on the front.

Here is a pic of the PSU in situ.

Would need to oil and stain the wooden tray and probably cut a new brass plate with better hole spacings but think this will work ok.

Cheers guys. Not sure if we want to leave these views ourselves, now looking into extending the house rather than selling up. If that happens then I'll have a slightly larger project to build next year!!

Thought I'd add some more eye candy before I head to bed. Nothing to do with the project, just a pretty sky looking north from my driveway.

    Most beautiful workshop ever. :D:jawdrop:

Really nice project too, nice work. :)

God I'd love to mod in an environment like that, so awesome, never seen aurora in person neither, bet it's sweet. :D

Oops so many quotes on the workshop but it's so damn nice. :D:rock:

Safe to say we are all jealous of your surroundings - I'd opt for a remodel of the house too =)

Looking forward to more pics of the project.
