Modding psu in 5 1/4 drive bay

    my case only has 1 spare 5 1/4 bay. it is a midi or mini, anyways the window looks crap cus there is a power supply unit covering half of it any suggestions for relocations? or maybe a drive box of some sort?

    mount it externally. take its current position and put it on the outside. cool thing is that you can put a blow hole directly over your mobo.

    if you keep the orientation the same, the atx cable should reach fine

    seen it done

    there was a tutorial about that somewhere (a PSU in a 5-1/4 bay) i think it was on the VH forums or maybe the [H] forum. if i find it, i'll tell you... you'd need some massive cooling on that sucka tho!

    Take a look at my first ever case which I put the PSU into.. there's not many real 'tips' on doing it, but it shows what I did which may have been some use.
