Found myself a new apartment. Going to sign the lease on next monday and move in a week after that.

I am a few months from finishing my training as an Anesthesiologist, about to purchase my dream home and start my dream job, and have a beautiful wife.

Keep in mind my journey to become an Anesthesiologist started when I first made this user account. It's been a longer road than most have taken, but being at the end is totally amazing.

The fact that my fiancee doesn't have cancer.

Long story short, but basically about a month ago she started gurgling in her sleep. This resulted in her constantly being sick, and, eventually vomiting up a load of blood one morning. The doctors scheduled a pretty rapid endoscopy, so we were fearing the worst.

Turned out to be pretty much nothing. Just some bad acid reflux.

Phew.

Now that's the kind of thing that makes your life awesome, realising you'll still have the person who you love so much who does actually make your life awesome.

The Mothership

 

1. Took the day out of work to to prepare for a STEM event and basically got paid to mess around with plastic balls and balloons to "check" that all the events and games make sense. Get paid for it as well

2. Literally got back from a successful driving test. 2 Minors and feeling like a boss right now

3. Taking a half day to go see the gf tomorrow (though the 7 hours on a train is less awesome)

4. Talking to a company that seem really enthusiastic about planning a 9 month secondment with them as part of my graduate scheme. And it is doing something relevant to my degree and personal interests.

 

My wife and kid. I guess, like Andy, it's companionship that makes life awesome.

This also. Family makes everything awesome. I was on the bus home and my Mrs. was waiting at the stop with the kids who were waving at me, big cuddles incuded. Puts a big smile on my face.

 

Oh, and not forgetting my 120mm fan collection, which definitely helps me enjoy life that little bit more...

 

I think you need to make a case out them and show us.

Today is my 17th wedding anniversary. 'Nuff said.

 

Bought a coffee a couple days ago. with that coffee i had won a free coffee. And with that free coffee i had won a free coffee. Then i used that 2nd free coffee and just won a 3rd free coffee...

The gods want me to have a coffee induced heart attack.

 

You should buy a lottery ticket... ( I'll take 10% of whatever you win since I suggested it ).

 

I never buy lottery tickets, I just might though.

UPDATE: Bought a scratch ticket, Won nothing. This is why I dont gamble lol.
