I considered it, but it's heavily frowned upon these days. Besides, they might have dropped it loading it into the car!

I hope you're planning to beef up the sound at some point in the future! It would be a real shame not to feel properly immersed in what you're watching.

I'd have bought the 70 quid cable and strung him up from the ceiling with it, as an example to others of what happens if you poke the bear.

I've got one as well, I've learned to start it without the cord; mostly because I kept losing it; starting it with your thumb is just as easy imo.

Due to where the PC is, I had to slide it through an Ikea Ivar shelving upright to the next bay so I could work on it.
I totally forgot to unplug the video cable, the longest connector of all!

The good news is that the replacement was only £7.50 from the Apple desk at Currys.

The bad news is that I then forgot to reconnect the CPU cooler after installing the card! :duh:
(Luckily, the thermal shutdown kicked in!)

This exact bow. First of its kind, complete one off production. Bigger than my little horn bow, should be able to fling some heavy war arrows. It'll also handle more than just a little humidity, which is a plus.

Got a new 42" Sony 3DTV yesterday from PCWorld with a free Sound Bar worth £115.

Tried the 3D on my pc and it works really well but not impressed by Nvidia charging for the ability to use my 3DTV for gaming, just because it's not using the 3D Vision stuff.

Now need to decide if it's going to get used enough for gaming to justify paying for it.

Powerballs are great for wrist and arm exercise, and I picked up and perfected the technique in no time, but couldn't get into a habit of using it on a regular basis for more than a couple of weeks, so I never saw any gains from using it.

    A frisbee and a 32GB usb3 Patriot thumb drive.

Had to spend 25 on amazon for free shipping, as the frisbee was 11 and they wanted 10 for shipping. Figured for 5 more I could get a new usb key, since mine seem to always disappear.
