    Bunch of RS stuff to distract me a bit;

    Battery relocation tray - Putting it in the boot, because it doesn't fit in the engine bay any more.
    Replacement Indicator screws - Holy **** are these expensive for plastic crap, £17.11 per screw.
    Undertray fittings - Whoever installed the splitter was a moron. Splitter is staying off. Need original fittings.
    Bracket for the actuator after spinning the turbo housing - It's pointlessly expensive for a bit of metal and some coupling bolts. Still. I don't have the time or machines to make my own.
    Fittings for attaching a heatshield - Aftermarket shield, attempts to keep some of the manifold/turbo heat away from the fan cowling. Overlooked by Ford, presumably for budget reasons - The holes exist in the slam panel..

    Overlooking the heat shielding sounds familiar. We used to have a second generation Mini Cooper S and they were well known for melting the (blocked up because it was only now needed for looks) bonnet scoop in warmer contries as the turbo was sited right at the top front of the engine, about an 2" below the plastic scoop.

    Sure there was a shield on there but it was neither use nor ornament, being a small sheet of pressed metal. There was a company who made an aftermarket aero-gel blanket and shield which completely solved the problem.

    Sounds like "activating" the bonnet scoop would have been a better solution?

    Yeah, it was probably overlooked because the Mk1 RS ended up costing Ford ~5000 per car more than they could sell them at, so anything they could cut got cut.

    The opening would have vented air onto the top of the cam cover rather than the turbo due to the very tight space available under there.

    DFI LanParty boards were the absolute bomb. Dare I say it, the RoG of their day.

    shieeeeeeeeeet if this wasn't a workstation card i'd say the part with the green bit is some kind of crazy "this will void your warranty" overclocking manual switch :D

    Not only that, it can play it in 30-bit colour! Or... it could if Crysis supported it.

    I'd lend you some of my compute-juice if I could - it's pretty overkill for my uses, but my impulse control was weak and the price was right.

    I guess that's the thing about niche products - 99% of the time it means mega-money, but once in a blue moon it means a mega bargain. And if a SFF Quadro with a HP Z1 proprietary enclosure isn't niche, I'm not sure what is.

    It's a handle, in case I ever want to carry it around as a fashion accessory :thumb:

    I'm expecting a brown cardboard box, unmarked save a barcode label, and a CD in a paper sleeve. Not really unboxing material in the same manner a Titan may offer! It all gets chucked in the loft anyway.

    No image inversion, that's it IRL. There's no output on the card itself - all back and forth through the PCI-E bus.

    The bit at the top is a locking mechanism - lift to install, press down to lock in place, lift again to remove.
