been after a mini-itx case for a while, so hard to decide without seeing it in the flesh but for £40 this seems better for under-desk use than the slightly cooler and shorter core 500, choices.

How much better at cooling would this case be if the front was mesh (on the motherboard side at least) with a dust filter?

Would probably look real good with it too.

Edit: Scan now have it in stock at just under £40 ...bundled with the red mesh top alternative :)

Just because it bugged me when reading it...

'it may not be as fancy or quiet as water-cooling friendly'

Think you meant quite, but regardless, thanks for the review.

Shockingly plastic build quality on the Carbide I thought. I have a SilverStone Temjin now(Slightly old school|) but night and day compared to the Carbide. This looks a way better bet than that plastic sack of siht.

This is such a rip off of the Corsair Air 240 :(

    Can you check the dimensions of this case please? Scan Computers has it down as 210 x 20 x 300 mm (W x H x D), where you have it as 260 x 355 x 355 (W x D x H).
    Thanks.

    I'm fairly sure this case isn't 20mm tall :)

You're looking at the dimensions of the extra red roof bracket on Scan. Further down you'll see the dimensions are the same as we've listed!

Ventilation for GFX card does not look good as there is no holes for air flow on the bottom of the case.
