What are you using to drive that LCD in terms of software? Those screens are pretty cool. Good job!

I use PowerLCD 2.0 for displaying the info on the LCD... I've made the website and the graphics and skins for the software...
    Check the site: http://www.powerlcd.com

I was fooling around with Photoshop to make a nice theme skin for my LCD and the Vortex project... This is what I came up with:

Tell me what you think of this theme! I might use this image to make a new skinpack for PowerLCD 2.0 if there are enough people that like it...

that is horribly sweet man... i love it...

nice cube too... i bet if you would take a few hours of time... and resolder all those cables to the exact length they need to be, used a few zip ties and some sleeving... you could make the wiring look KILLER as well!! good luck man

Thanks man! I was thinking about changing the wires, but that would be really time consuming when I have to change something on the inside... cutting the tie-wraps and putting them back in place once I'm done with the update... I decided to leave it like it is now.. looks kinda techy.. which is good

I'm currently working on a new project... a LED display with 144 red 10mm leds! Here are some teaser pictures:

This project is based on the BlinkenLeds project (german) but with some extra IC's to power larger or ultrabright leds...

It's not in PowerLCD 2.0X yet.. but Mr. ChronoM might implement that feature in the next version of PowerLCD... It's just a scetch that I've made while working on the graphics and skins for PowerLCD...

Look what the tide brought in... XNDR, I believe you still owe me five euro ;)

Other than that, nice case, I don't like the LCD though, it'd be prettier if it'd be blue, or anything else than green.

    Awesome job dude! :cooldude:

I love the size of case, but you should do something to your CD-drive.
