I'm looking at making my livingroom look less rubish. I have a mess of cables under my TV, running to the speakers and my PC. I also have a bundle of cables running from my computer on the dinning table to the tower behind me.

The TV was is 1.4m and the computer run is similar in length. I would want sleeves that are longer than 1m to make things look better. Has anyone found anything decent? It seems most products I'm finding are "19.7 inch Cable Organizer Sleeve".

What type you after? You can get spiral wrap by the meter usually online.

That's one option, but I'm not sure it will look the best below the TV in my living room. If I owned the place I would run a conduit through the way and wire an additional wall socket.

Is that the most common solution?

How are you with a knitting corker? Custom cosy cables...

    Your options
    • split loom
    • split warp
    • spiral warp
    • surface duct
      • Wall mount
      • floor runner
I'm not sure what is available in your region but you can refer to cableorganizer.com for reference.

I thought those are for mechanical keyboard enthusiasts ???

This list would have taken me days to find these names. Ikea's naming for split loom is RABALDER.

This is a handy tool that I just discovered:

I can't really go wrong with a "2 Metre Cable Tidy Kit" on eBay for £3.39

    Yes, but I don't need 25m.

I can't find a link, but I used some neoprene velcro cable wrap stuff. I've used it all over the place, I quite like it. I think the brand started with an M..

    Similar - But not quite.

It's actually really bugging me as I want some more, but the main body of the wrap attaches to the velcro, so you can trim it in two dimensions, as well as being super thin so there's not this bulky cable snake. I know I bought it on Amazon, but that order seems to have disappeared..

The closest I've found is one from some brand called "Melca" but it looks a bit **** compared to what I've used so far.

The tool is a nice to have for the loom/wraps, but one can install without it.

neoprene velcro - looks great but only seems to come in shorter lengths for Desktop under the desk.
The split loom arrived and it looks good. Seems 15mm is only enough for a few runs and I will need some 25mm for the run below my TV.
The plastic fabric wrap looks good as well but it looks to be all sold out and none on eBay.

After rotating my desktop to show off the TG window and RGB fans, I need to replace multiple USB runs with longer cables, 5m is not cheap so I might wait until my next China visit and order a handful: USB 3, USB C, HDMI, DP.
