It's this: take out your 68000 and pop this in, then put a Pi 3A+ (Pi 4/CM4 support to follow) on top and it interfaces the real hardware with the Musashi emulator running on the Pi. Which means it can be a 68040 (though that's a little buggy, 68020's more compatible.) And 4MB of Zorro II. And 128MB of Zorro III.

Oh, and it'll take a block device or a disk image and serve it up as a SCSI drive. And it's got a real-time clock that syncs with the system clock on the Pi.

And it'll emulate an RTG, and use the Pi's HDMI output for video.

Oh, and the roadmap's got network passthrough in there - so you'll be able to use the Pi's Wi-Fi as an Amiga Ethernet connection.

And it's about $13 if you get in on a group buy. Plus the cost of the Pi, of course, but still.

It's pretty damn neat. Still buggy, and not the user-friendliest thing - but a great community behind it, and it's really going places.

    It's alive, IT'S ALLIIIIIIIIIIVE!

RMA'd my CPU last week, Scan authorised a replacement on Sunday, and the new CPU plopped onto my door step this morning. ~30min Prime95 stress test and all looking good so far - temps are good too, it hit ~65degC under full Prime95 load. Time to fire up Valheim and try gaming...

    Guilty on all charges.

Genuinely thought he was going to get away with it. A positive step in the right direction hopefully.

He deserves to fry imo, but I expect he'll get 15 years and be up for parole in 10, at which point we get to go through this all again.

Moving from DIY to the gentle care of GenderCare. Completed and sent an initial questionnaire emailed by one of the shrinks, waiting for whatever is to follow.

NHS gender identity clinics have waiting lists that are measured in years, I might get seen some time in 2024. I don't have the patience to wait that long so GICs can go have sex with a chainsaw. I'm going private no matter the cost

BT silently removed free weekend calls as their unmentioned default last year, after many many years with it. So there was a surprise £11.40 call charge last month.

I called support and got hung up before I could even answer, twice, after an hour wait total. This is combined with a couple Christmasses ago when I had internet speed of kb/s and kept being lied to about technicians etc. when I just needed a hub, and got compensated for it.

Despite only renewing a few months ago and it not expiring until 2023, I sent an angry complaint and said I'm leaving at the end of the contract if they don't at least pay me back for that call. I asked them if it was worth £11.40 to lose out on hundreds or thousands in future.

    I got my £11.40 back.

Found a new function in excel, UNIQUE(). It has saved me about 2 hours of work just today, it is going to be *very* useful in the future.

Ready to leave hospital, have to sign out and grab some meds. My arm is still partly immobile, but I seem to have a range of movement back with initial assistance.
Off home to unhappy injured wife...

Several weeks ago I paid off my existing mobile phone purchase contract, before changing to a new one, both with Tesco mobile.

Now my credit score, with Experian, has gone up to 974!
