Is it just me or, are there other forum members who want nothing to do with the Jubilee?

 

Meh, the only good thing about the old bint is that we'll get an extra day off when she kicks.

 

I'm just happy I'm getting an extra long weekend next week. Chance to catch up on the gardening and save some fuel.

Watched a trailer for the home videos they took on BBC. Ignoring how she’s aged, she was a cracker back in the day and I’m no royalist!

Yeah I never knew she was slamming until I saw her in her 20s a couple of months ago.

I have great memories of the 70s one. Fantastic street party and I went as Andy Pandy. Still got my coin and mug too.

I'd probably be up for it but I'm in mum's village ATM and there isn't one.

I'm not adverse to it is what I'm saying. We've gone from being an incredibly social nation into the opposite. And that's a shame that everyone is now pretty selfish and doesn't care a toss for anyone but themselves.

 

Personally I think Her Maj is great. Don't worry, I'll enjoy my holiday while you lot volunteer to work the weekend

 

Yeah, it's almost like we're mirroring the behaviour of the ruling elite. S'funny how that happened, no?

 

In my experience they always have been.

Like people bemoaning state of the local High Street as if it being a depressing shithole no-one wants to bother with is recent development. 'The Hight street is a tip, we should spruce it up' has been 'coming soon' since my grandfather was a child.

If'n they offer me double bubble and a day in lieu then I'm going to be working.
