Some electronics stuff: a Delta EDPS-715AB power supply that does 12.8A at 56V, which will be paired with a Riden RD6018 control unit. Have seen nothing but positive reviews for these Riden jobbies so very confident that this will be a nice test setup capable of at least 50V.

I like kit that lasts doing its job, if they last just as long @Yaka that's just over a couple of quid a week per pro.

Can't think of many useful things you can get for that nowadays.

New keyboard for work to replace the Corsair K65 Mech I have been using:

JLab Epic keyboard from Argos for £39.99.

Feels basically like the Logitech MX Keys S albeit for less than half the current price. Also way quieter for office use, although I have to remember it isn't as strong for when the month end payroll rage visits...

Can connect to three devices as well which is a plus.

Oh an its waaaaaaay better than the Lenovo Wireless thing or Logitech M540 we normally deploy - although I am "special" and use a MS Master 2S I repaired and up to now the K65... :hehe:

Really did want to get a another Logitech G915 with 10 keys (for number entry) but couldn't justify the price. I use the TKL model at home and love it but at over £125 in the BF sales its a little much for sitting on my desk at work.

I was the same until I visited a friends house and seen this, build quality is fantastic, comfort is great, no creaks yet, longevity wise I can’t answer but he’s had his for 6 months and it’s still like new!

I’m saying this coming from a swivel cheap office chair through wanting to avoid the usual bucket seat rubbish.

    A Meaco DDL8.

This house is over 100 years old so the usual quirks come with it. Picked up a DD8L Junior last year or early this and it worked wonders in the loft.

His brother will live downstairs and should hopefully do the same plus maybe take the edge off my allergies.

Any extra heat will be a bonus, hammering the boiler already and the Junior did knock the temps up by a good 3-5 degrees in the loft.

Aye, have one upstairs and got another for downstairs. Seeing as my first is in the loft I wanted to be able to check on my phone if it needed emptying without traipsing up two flights of stairs.

The upstairs dehumidifier is on low fan 50% which uses about 9p an hour when running. Smart little machines, they check every 15 mins (or maybe 30) and if the humidity is ok they turn off otherwise they run until they hit their target.

Not sure whether to set it to 40 for winter though.

I mainly use Sofirn lights (SC31 Pro in particular) as the one that stays in my pocket, but I have been thinking about one of these for a while and with £30 off on the sale and a £10 coupon, I thought I would treat myself. Should be arriving today.

We don't normally do much with the Olight sales, sure we keep an eye on what's going on and play around with the spinny wheel thing, but we bought a couple this time. My wife collects the little AAA i3t lights so I grabbed the new black and gold one for her too.
