    I mean im making £4.50 (£4.80 in sept) an hour, and i thought that was ****ty, but thats 8 USD, same roughly as the notebook tech support for compaq dude, and not that far off the County Jail worker?????

    I was wondering the same thing, i thought i was earning alright money considering im 17, im suprised by how much i do get paid. Always thought the US was a good place for getting paid mega bucks, goes to show that the grass really does look greener on the other side, quite literally

    I be making 10 cdn doing viral removals, and computer fixing, mostly software. Some hardware upgrades. And a bunch of talking on the phone to people with a < 100 IQ. :hehe: Also, When not doing stuff, I surf the net at work. That be mon, tues, weds. Hopefulyy this summer it will go back up to full time. And I am applying to get a job at radio shack. Starts at 8cdn, and goes as high as 12 to 14 (avg.) or so with commission. I be 19 going on 20 btw. I be a graduate from high school and will be going to Devry in Calgary in September. I gotta make me a buncha money cuz My tuition is 45k cdn for 3 years. No food/housing included.

    While I personally like the sound of that, it's also a disturbing thought...

    yeah.. and how can you live on 4k a year??? when I sit in front of my computer, I have literally over 6k of stuff there. and then there are 4 $1500 routers sitting beside my bed, and an 800 dollar wireless modem. as well as about 4 other computers sitting in a stack, and then there is my webserver that is co-located at work, P4 1.5gig, 384 megs of pc800RDRAM. :rock:

    </gloat>

    sorry :worried:

    What?!

    I heard there was no escape from the Morrisons/Safeway group now...

    Either way Morrisons wages will surely rise to match Safeway's which are now at £4.90 an hour which aint bad. And coincidentally is what I'm on for working on a Fresh to Go Counter.

    That equals usually either being a pizza maker or working the hotwok/chicken rotisserie oh, and cleaning that part too. All great fun(!)
