    hey thanks guys, erm dus anybody know any good sites in the UK that do 2nd hand stuff? Because a new 9800 pro is kinda abit more expensive than i thought.

    Is there any kind of utility to help me identify what kind of core I have in my card :confused: .

    ATItool. google it.install it then click on settings and it should tell you what core you have(unless you've flashed the bios)

    The only utility is hands and eyes, remove the cooler and check the core.(thats to see if you have an XT core on a pro card)
    As previous post mentioned, ATI tool will tell you the current core/GPU''s bios runing

    Did you not see my post? My 9600XT is dected as a RV360 by ATi Tool even though it is running a pro BIOS!

    But yeah, in any case, you should be able to identify you're card by looking at it. Google is your friend :thumb:
