Very nice modding, RaZoRbLaDe. Where did you get the piece of aluminium you used to replace the piece that you cut out (where your 2 80mm intake fans mounted)? Also, are you planning on keeping your USB ports in the front?

I got the sheet of aluminium at the local toolsstore. And yes, the USB ports at the front will stay :) .

    Update 5:

    Okay, another update!!!

Masking a sheet of.... (what will it be ;)).

After messing around with some tools...

    The result! :) .

The new "mounting-system" of the hdd-rack.

Stripping the case down to the bone.

What is it? Where will it be placed?

    Yes that's right. Blue UV-Plexi.

Let's hold it beneath a Blacklight (my mainrig's)

Meshed the power supply, also replaced the original blue led fans with some Green-Blue-UV-Reactive fans with 4 UV leds.

    In the dark, under UV-light!

For the last time in the dark, under UV-light!

And for the people who were asking themselves what were in those boxes...see for yourself ;) .

Okay, stay tuned for the next update!

    Agreed.

Looks like an awesome start. I really like what you did with the bottom... I may have to do something like that :) The passive intake thing I have on my 6077b just gets in the way when paired with an audigy2... and I'm looking to make room for some watercooling pump (probably an L20/L25 for size reasons)

    Update time!!

    Update 6:

The inside totally sprayed matt black. The plexi which will be mounted to the bottom of the case is also displayed in the picture.

    Re-assembling the case.

Almost finished with screwing the case together.

The new front :) ! It is made of UV-Reactive blue plexi which is painted from the back with Metallic Blue spraypaint. Now you can't see trough anymore but you do maintain the "gloss" of the plexi. And if hold the front beneath some UV-light, the whole front will light up blue :p.

The back. I've made another 80mm outtake hole. Standard Lian-Li equippes there cases only with the one 80mm hole, but you can perfectly make another one below the original one.

I've installed some test-hdd's to see if everything fits, and yes it does ;) . Also I've attached the hdd's with some imbus-bolts (I quess that's the wrong name...) and some kind of standoff.

The bottom with the UV-Blue plexi.

The case seen from below. As you can see, the plexi already lights up quitte wel under normal light. If I use a couple of blacklights in the case, the plexi will light up quitte wel which eventually will "take care of" the "streetglow-effect". Another positive aspect is that you can't see through the plexi anymore if it is lighted by UV-light, then you can't see the "ugly" floor anymore.

    The inside.

Been messing around with the front.... result: the radiator-intake!

Again, the back of the case.

And last but not least, the whole case.

That was again another update. Let me know what you think about it!
