    Hi there !

I was just finishing the water tank

    it is 5mm plexi plates
    2X 14*11
    2X 15*10
    2X 11*10

the pump is very very very quiet , and almost all vibrations are cancelled

    also great air trap functionality

It's quite hard to tell, but it looks like you have removed the inlet of the pump. Is this correct.

My only concern relates to the efficient operation of the impeller.

Normally, water would enter at the center over the center of the spinning impeller. This is then spun outwards toward the outlet. In your configuration, it looks like the water can spill out the front of the impeller rather than going to the outlet.

    This is not good.

I would suggest a cap of somekind, covering the majority of the front of the impeller with the exception of a small opeinging in the centre. You should be able to see how big this needs to be by looking at the existing impeller housing.

If I am mistaken, I apologise.

Oh, and good work on the resevoir.

    looks good

    looks good.

How did you seal the edges to one another and how did you seal the area under and around the screws and the copper tubes ?

does look like the perspex is taking alot of wait on the inside wall and are the screws meaty enough ?

sorry to say, but this is an aquarium pump, and the inlet is like it should be...
very strong pump by the way...

I used special glue for it.
I just have to put there something so it will be 90* to the ground....

    hey! I like it.

This looks good and saves you some room in the case too. Good idea. Does the pump throw alot of heat into the water making your temps higher or is it no big deal? Just curious...

    Good thinking tho

    take care
