Does sketchup has the option to print an sketch WITH all the rigth sizes printed next to the lines on it? Like I blueprint

 

I wish SketchUp compressed the models. Even with zlib, they get so much smaller. Here's a model I made of the EPIA V10000. Click to download.



The measurements should be fairly accurate. Hope it's of use to anyone.

 

how can i turn dimensions to metric. Cant work with inches and feet.

 

Sketchup 3:
View > Preferences > Units

Sketchup 4:
Window > Model Info > Units


v4 really has messed up the menus - seem much less organised IMO.

 

I totaly agree, I was looking for that but couldn't even find it. I was lucky it was in mm when I started modelling

 

Is it too much to request that some one make a low detail model of a "Shuttle Silentx 250w PSU" Im trying to mock up and htpc and i dont have a psu infront of me otherwise id make it myself.

 

Just finished doing a sketchup of a hometheatre pc I want to build in the near future. I can upload it if anyone wants to use components from it or just take a better look. I'll upload pics as soon as I get home.

I have a request, i dont use sketchup much at all, because its just to hard to switch from cadkey to sketchup. And, i just simpily dont like sketchup. Anyway, i have the educational version of cadkey v20, and wont let me import or export anything other than the standard .ckd .ckt .prt .ptn, which are the cadkey standard file types. So, what im requesting if anyone can do, is to convert the hard drive, one of the atx mobo's, vid card, cd drive, and power supply to a ckd or prt file type. If anyone can do this, i would greatly appreciate it. Im still looking around for diffrent programs to do this, but no combination seems to work.

Great models to, i just wish i could use them.

sketchup can export files as .skp .skb .wrl .dxf .dwg and .3ds

 

I realise this, but i was hoping somebody might have other programs they could import into than export as a cadkey file.

 

I was wondering if some one can post a sketch of the Lian Li 6070.. It would help so much
