When you never leave the house, and therefore your computer, because you're afraid of what your mom/girlfriend/wife might do to your computer, and the computer room (after all, she might "reorganize" or "clean" it).

 

when the only thing kept clean in your room is your pc

When you encourage your self to get addicted to a rpg or mmorpg

When you are cleaning your room, you take soda cans out in a box rather in hand.

 

When you don't even bother sorting the soda cans anymore, you have a seperate trash can for recycling aluminum cans (which is, ironically, bigger than my usual trash can)

 

When someone ask you "how are you?" and you respond: " Good, my network is up again, and i finally fixed that akward hard drive" ... the look you get tells all.

when you spend an hour on msn talking someone without a clue through setting up their router

when your boss makes you responsible for maintaining the crappy office computer and the staffs computers at home

 

when some guy at college has nick-named you Bill

you know your a geek when....

1. you are only 18 and you are already the head technician at a computer repair shop.

2. your computer teacher pays you 20 bucks to make a website for him because he does not know how.

3. when you end up teaching your class how to make web pages because the teacher who is supposed to show does not know how.

4. you have to show your teacher what a quick launch bar is.

5. you use old motherboards as wall decor.

6. you have more music on your hard drive then best buy has in there store.

 

When you have more PCs in your house than your school/workplace has.
When you actuall keep the soda cans, considering making a case out of them

 

When you have a collection of hardware on display in honor of their good service (no Im not guilty of this )
