Modding U.V. paint

i want some chrome uv wire sleeving but couldnt find any so came up with this. it says the paint isn't permant, can sombody tell me were i could get some that wont wipe off??

 

Did you read the features of the sleeving.

 

UV resistant just means that it will not degrade under exposure. If you read the first link, it says that the spray stuff can be made permanent by using a clear coat... Pretty easy.

 

but how well will that work on flexible sleeving is more my question i guess

 

It wont cover 100% but it should keep the uv paint from wiping off. Since the sleeving isnt made of fabric from what I can tell, there shouldn't be a problem.

 

OT, but kobaj, why did you change your user name from jtggg?

 

it works good on metal but your going to use 4-5 light coats to get good results.
