    UV resistant just means that it will not degrade under exposure. If you read the first link, it says that the spray stuff can be made permanent by using a clear coat... Pretty easy.

    but how well will that work on flexible sleeving is more my question i guess

    It wont cover 100% but it should keep the uv paint from wiping off. Since the sleeving isnt made of fabric from what I can tell, there shouldn't be a problem.

    it works good on metal but your going to use 4-5 light coats to get good results.

    Spray on UV dyes won't stick to PVC sleaving
