Come on ppl, drop the McD's bashing and appreciate artistry when you see it. I worked for the big M myself while in high school and also part time while I was in college. Not the greatest job I've had but definitley not the worse (working green chain in a log yard).

    Kudo's for the great work.

I'm really hoping McDonald's is going to sponser me somehow. I think is a pretty good (and a unique way for them) to advertise. Just being posted here a few days, it's got 2,000 hits -- not to bad for advertising?

So, if they start funding me, you will see many more McDonald's computers in the near future. (Including a planned Big Mac one!)

Thanks again for the great comments!

I want the LCD. How much was it and where did you get it? Is it VGA?

    Oh, nice job. :thumb:

I got it off eBay for $70. It is not VGA, it just has a composite input. It worked great for my project though. I just ran the video out from the mobo (that's what's happening between the two sets of I/O ports you see on the back) into the LCD. I believe it was used in one one those car DVD systems before I bought it.

Hay FRiGUi62 sorry for that long delay, to be honest I dont really remember why it took us so long, I think we were just so backlogged with the xpods it got thrown on the back burner and for that Im truely sorry. We were wondering why someone would want those to but now that I see the whole thing its incredible. I'd say McDs owes you a raise :)

When you put it on display let me know so I can come see it. Will it be at the McDonalds by IGA and Shopko?

nice work. I don't like the theme at all (find it creepy, the food makes me sick).
    but props for the construction.

Wow, I haven't been to bit-tech for ages. It's nice to see my thread getting some views again.

I may as well give some updates.
You may be dissapointed to hear, I have not done any more mods since these last two. I rarely use PCs anymore-- I've fallen to the dark side, and use a Mac.

I am now able to pursue my other passion -- video editing/production. I'll share one of my videos I made this last year. This was made for a contest the McDonald's corporation put on. I ended up winning their competition with a $1,500 grand prize.

I was also featured in a good-sized article in our local news paper.

This is my latest (and last) McDonald's project. I will be leaving the golden arches within the next few months to further my film making career.
