Not sure how many wu's a week that would churn out, but even if it's around 1 per pooter, that's 200-or-so wu's a week!

Looking at stats my production has completely dropped off. I have lost a couple of machines but I'll have to check that everything is running properly on the ones that are still folding as I haven't been running EMIII the past week or so.

Good to see us moving up the table though, even if my no. 1 spot will soon be snatched from me. :) There's just no way I can compete with the likes of Atomic and Spacehopper.

    Go on the boys! :D

If that's the argument they choose then I'll ask for a trial on 2-3 PCs for a week or something.

Its extra work for them and as it uses RAM it *may* cause problems to other programs.

If you can get it on well done, but if one of the students asked me to install it on my computers Id say no.

Looks like you got him beat so far, so if you want to beat him again, just sign some of those computers up under my name and keep me ahead of him :D

I got a couple more A64's to replace my Barton and T-bred machines, now i just need to get some psu's and i'll have the old ones up as well. I figure with those i'll atleast be in the 1000 a day club.

I just joined the cause - running as a service on one of my machines - do I have to get into the top 115 members to appear on the team page then or do we just have 115 members and I haven't appeared yet?

Also I see that it is not using 'both cpus' of my hyperthreaded P4 - can I run it twice by putting another copy in a differently named directory? Or is that a bit dangerous?

not sure about your 2nd question but in regards to your first, every member is listed on the team page. as soon as you return your first completed work unit your username will show up on the team page assuming you plugged in the team number (33346 :)) thanks for joining!

Yep you can run two instances of the console on a hyper threaded cpu, as long as you set them up in two separate folders and when configuring them you must give each a different machine ID. You will notice that work units complete slower but not twice as slow and you should get a production increase of about 10-20%.

I have another 5 3ghz P4s on the go for a week or so. Just doing whatever I can to keep my lead for as long as possible. :)

I don't think it's going to last that long though...

Your doing well considering me and spacehopper have entire computing departments as our resources.
