    well if it isnt the best project it, deffinatly is the best electronically (most focus on looks/metalwork whereas yours doesnt!)

    Some really cool stuff, way to high for my electronics level atm (Studying electronics as GCSE level) so I understand what your on about, just quite complex.

    Anyways the idea's really cool, good luck with the mod!

    That PCB is awesome by the way... my 'electronics' projects are quite alot simplilar... except im a fussy w4nker so im going to have to use a PIC over my current design for door alarm..

    grunt, would you be interested in writing a guide to touch pads for all of those interested in it? (seems theres quite a few, add me to the list)

    also, do the touch sensors go off if you hover your finger above the surface?
