They check the IPs apparently. Loads of the same IP in the same team = points deducted. So don't do it
thats a silly method, i mean, what if ppl are on a shared connection? alot of the ppl here will be on uni networks which are shared

Correct me if I'm wrong but each pc would still have it's own IP, so it's just a matter of finding a comp that hasn't been registered on. <A88>

Only if they each have a seperate connection to the internet. I run all my PCs through a router so they all effectively have the same IP to anything outside my network. It's not added any new colonists at all lately. The site is getting really bizarre, the ranks aren't in order anymore either
Depends if your router provides a NAT or Non-NAT connection. IIRC A NAT enabled router will only provide the External IP of the router to the outside world - including the colony website.

Well, I won't work like that when they FINALLY bring in IPv6. No more NAT/PAT just IP's for all. Something like 10,000,000 per meter square of the earths surface, not including seas.
We just got overtaken by Team Xbox. I can't help thinking that the colonies may have to work together at some point? Maybe that's why they keep highlighting different teams? Maybe the website is just screwed... Well, now it says I'm in team GeezerGamers
