Way to go on hijacking this guys thread. :duh: Next time don`t pimp your rig in other peoples project log. See what happens. :grr:

On topic: I can`t wait to see the watercooling and with copper pipes its going to look sweet. Are you going to shine them up or leave them like that?

the picture actually makes them look worse, they are pretty shiny as is (did polish them up with the dremel)

I guess its just the reflections from the couch heh

again my apologies for the earlier post.. was just trying to give him some ideas. Anyways, good luck with the project! I've noticed that you are using 3/8 tubing? I had a lot of trouble with my 1/4 inch tubing! I'm curious to see how it all fits. I believe someones done 1/2 inch before so it shouldn't be a problem, but will be very challenging. By the way, what pump is that?

I`ve done 1/2" ID in an sff and its not that hard. Just need to do a lot of planning and use tygon and sometimes coolsleeves. I also used it on an SFF smaller than a shuttle and it worked out well.

If you really want them to be shiny dont use a dremel. I suggest you use sandpaper. Start with a 400 grit and always sand in one direction. Then move to the next grit untill you get to 2000 grit. Then finish it off with steel wool. Believe me you will get a mirror finish and remember to sand in one direction.

If you want to see another partial hardline look under chromed dragon on my signature maybe it will help. Btw to polish the coper tubing you dont really need allot of work as the tubing is decently polished itself. But I sugest painting it insted of polishing it as it looks as though its one pice.

Had it painted for a bit. Decided to dremel all of the paint off anyways. Looked better just the copper...

    Another note:
Ran into a problem with the test fitting of the waterblock on the CPU. The plexi top on the Danger Den TDX isn't quite wide enough for the mounting holes on the FN85 motherboard.

Not sure if maybe the intel top would fit the board better. Probably gonna email Danger Den and see what I can do.

You didn`t get the P4 version of the TDX. Shuttle uses P4 mounting brackets for their ICE hsf. Even on their AMD boards.

Yea, but which top? (trust me, I've googled. *could be blind though*)
    This top? (socket 478)
    or
    This one? (socket 775)

    Thanks in advance

If you haven't figured it out by now, it's the P4 478 socket you need!

Why are you using copper pipe? why not just clear flexible tubing?

I've got some updates, pictures to come later today.

Had a huge problem with mounting this pump (I didn't really think ahead, but it's taken care of)

    Update:

Now have the system filled heres the pics from in between :)

    Radiator installed:

    Motherboard and TDX installed next
    [IMG]

Had a problem with mounting this pump (because of lack of space/machine shop) but heres how it got mounted:

Heres the graphics card with copper pipes (that were leaking):

    couple of filled pics :D

This system was a pain to bleed all of the bubbles from the lines!

All that is left is to paint the cover, and cut the plexiglass window so it can fit over the pipes/block...

To bad it has been raining here for a few days, or that would have been done a long time ago
