Hey thanks for the kind words!

Just to let you peeps know, I no longer am in ownership of the Vapo-Li someone made me an offer on it and I had to let it go... If I still did have it then I could have ran some O/C tests.

i was wondering if you had any problems with the arradite on the top blowholes, is it really strong enought to hold a fan & how long do you think it will hold?

is there any other type of adheasive that could ahve given you a stronger hold as you can tell i want ot do the screwless blowhole on my next case mod)

Well its about time you got off your duff and started entertaining us locals with your modding adventures. :hehe:

I remember reading about the Vapo-Li last year when you guys covered CPL. It nice to see the amount of work that went into the project. Often times people don't see the time it takes to plan out a proper modification and some jump in to quickly with disasterous results.

Good to see ya back Koolvin.. drop me a line sometime..

Araldite is seriously strong stuff... more than capable of holding a fan in place until the universe cracks. Most people take the quicker setting method and use gluegun glue whch not nearly as strong...

I had a bottles of 3L coke on each hole and it survived ;) also survived the hundreds of 'DUMB AS5' people at CPL who kept on pressing the grills !!!

yea they all deserved a slap shame on them risking a punch in the gob for messing with a sweet mod

& my fan grills not only have to be strong, they also have to be dog proof, my dozy dog keeps pushing my grills with her nose for some very strange reason (guess she takes after me as im strange :D)

glue guns are farley strong as well, i have the eject mechanism in one of my video recorders in my room held up by superglue (smasung mechanism in a proline vid, no wonder it did not fit :D)

after you drilled out the rivets what did you use to hold the top of the case on? Did you just use normal case screws?

this was a superb mod and gave me many ideas related to a regrigerated case.

I do not understand the purpose of the heater between the condensor and the chip. You said to remove humidity ubt shouldn't these two item be so close together that humidty could not get in there?
Also how does the mother board not recive power till it reaches -4 c ?
