Dude that is absolutely bloody awesome :D If I win the lottery I'll do one myself ;) but in a black PC72 (gotta have the SCA for the 15k drives I'd have)

Better than other guides to, which didnt have half as many pictures on what to do and what not to do!

    :)

Only took about a year to get the article out :p Very much worth the wait though! :D

How do the koolvin / 'other' methods differ, when converting a PC70/1 to run using a vapo unit?

    Christ thats nice modding :eeek:

    Couple of questions though

How long did it take you ?

What temps/ overclocks did you get ?

    How noisy is it ?

Any day to day problems with running it ?

Ruffely how much did it cost to do ( taking into account free kit supplied by ocs and kustom ? :D )

What happened to the case is it still yours ?

Not that noisey at all, infact the only noisiest thing was the 1U psu with the 3 40mm fans, took me more time planning than actually modding the case. Temps -14C constant all day long on a Tbird 1.4 @ 1.7 didn't overclock it too much because of the 5v rail - in anycase im not into overclocking so..... any problems running it? NONE, cost? well lets say lots!!!

    Think of this

    1) The condesing unit is calculated for a amount of cooling , if you alter that bay adding another fan you will not get the effect on the cooling side (evaporator) its made for.
    2) If you bend the copperpipe to the evaporator to much or to meny times, it will get hard and you will brake it. :cries:

I hope you all think of this (i used to work with this kind of stuff (much bigger thou :) )) and you will save alot of money :D

    Where's the other PSU?

i Don't get it, that PSU is like 150W isn't it?

So how can it run this system? Or is there another PSU installed that I can't see or somethin?

I really like the mod but one thing i didn't expect form you bit-tech guys is to leave the front bays "unstealthed" I mean; that MO LCD in that black case, and the EQ... I mean, theyre nice, but shouldn;t they have Alu casings to?

one more thing; doesn't it suck to have such a small amount of table space on a laptop? :eyebrow:

i'd hate the idea of playing CS or whatever with a monitor through my nose! What if u bump you're head on it during intensive gameplay? :D

Ehm... well I'm seriously considering buying one so if u please would tell me what it did cost you, I would be much obliged.

Or is this against bit-tech regulations or something? Since nobody wants to mention money here :eyebrow:

SEF: I'll mention money if you can ship me a big bag of green stuff from NL.

The PSU was brought from www.acme-technmology.co.uk 80-90 pounds I think.
