As the title says - does £70 still represent good value?? Does the F3 have any real competitors? Your thoughts...
Considering it's the HDD to get right now and seeing as it's also just about the cheapest there, YES.
If it's another £10 postage your saving your self about £10 to £15. You can get it a quid and a half cheaper on dabs but again the postage will probably take that up by at least £5. I managed to get one for my GF's External caddy for £65 with postage from scan but the price as since gone up. Forgot to add my thoughts: Buy it!

If you get free delivery @ scan its bit cheaper (even more so if on today only). http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/1TB-...3-SATA-3Gb-s-7200rpm-32MB-Cache-89-ms-NCQ-OEM
Supply and demand is a bitch Yeah, I saw that review, but I thought that it was all the way back in October, something newer/better may have come out. Doesn't seem so, judging by the tone of the responses...Thanks for input
I have the F1 500gb and my GF has the 1tb F3, both awesome. I have heard shaky things about the 1.5tb Samsungs though.
I paid just under £64 for my F3 1TB on Scan Today Only about 2 weeks ago without postage (I was buying other things too), so I'd say £70 is about right. Definitely worth getting one, it's pretty much the best non-SSD disk you can buy really.
