13 million plain-text passwords. http://www.bit-tech.net/news/bits/2015/10/29/000webhost-leaks-accounts/1
Leaking of customers details seems to be the done thing these days, wasn't something in the news about British Gas joining the club?
I've not been particularly into unique passwords for different online accounts in the past, but I think I will take it up a bit more from now on. I've used this web host for a few sites so presumably my email address and account password have been leaked. There's no value in the sites I've published though, so it's worthless information really. Just checked 'Have I been pwned' - turns out I've been pwned at least twice, this one and the Adobe breach in 2013. I'll let you know when I actually experience any fall out from it. Can't see it happening.
A password manager will make things a bit easier. It will generate and store your passwords, which you unlock with a single strong master password.
